The Share Gallery (“we”, “us”) is a shared photo service for parties, weddings, and other gatherings. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it when you use thesharegallery.com, guest upload links, and The Share Gallery Roku app.
Information we collect
- Account details if you sign up — such as name, email, and password.
- Guest upload details — a display name, optional email, and optional caption with a photo.
- Photos and gallery content that you or invited guests upload to a shared gallery.
- Device and connection info needed to run the site and TV app, such as IP address, browser or device type, and sign-in or TV-connect codes.
- Support messages if you email us.
How we use it
- To show photos in the shared gallery you joined, including on TVs and monitors through the Roku app.
- To create and manage your account, galleries, and TV sign-in.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.
- Optional guest emails are not shown publicly. We may use them only if we need to contact you about a photo or account issue.
Sharing
Photos in a gallery are visible to people who have the gallery link, and to viewers of that gallery on a connected TV. We do not sell your personal information. We may use hosting, storage, and email providers to operate the service. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users and the service.
Retention
We keep gallery photos and account data while the gallery or account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for backups, abuse prevention, or legal reasons. Free galleries may expire after a limited time.
Your choices
You can update account information after signing in. To request removal of a photo or deletion of an account, contact us. Because galleries are shared events, we may need the gallery owner’s help to complete some requests.
Children
The Share Gallery is not directed at children under 13. Please do not create an account or upload photos of children without a parent or guardian’s permission.
